Vittorio Emanuele III (1900-1946) 2 Lire A. VI Fiera di Milano Prova in argento, bordo rigato – Nomisma manca AG (g 11,67 – h 12) RRRRR Moneta che ci risulta non essere mai apparsa in asta come indicato da A. Sfoglia, Un gettone privato circolante in ambito italiano, in Panorama Numismatico, ottobre 2018, p. 53, che pubblica proprio il presente esemplare. È noto che questi gettoni spendibili all’interno dell’Esposizione di Milano furono coniati in rame dorato ma ne esistono anche in oro ed argento. Con la scritta PROVA al posto della data 1928 sono conosciuti esemplari in alluminio e in bronzo mentre ora si va ad aggiungere alla serie questo esemplare in argento ottimamente patinato.
