MILANO Filippo II (1556-1598) Scudo d’oro - MIR 303; Crippa 6/B AU (g 3,29) RRR Variante con leggenda del diritto PHI REX ET C MLI DVX. Splendido esemplare di questa rarissima moneta. Nel MIR è illustrato un esemplare tosato e di qualità molto inferiore a questo che invece si presenta del tutto integro e perfettamente centrato. È interessante notare come questo tipo di scudo sia di diametro maggiore (mm 24) rispetto a quello (mm 23) degli scudi, più comuni, col ritratto del re al diritto invece dello stemma.
