MANTOVA Ferdinando Gonzaga (1622-1626) Quadrupla - MIR 580 AU (g 13,23) RRR Splendido esemplare. C’è sicuramente incertezza sull’attribuzione a Mantova o Casale di questa superba quadrupla. Il MIR infatti annota: questa moneta viene descritta sia per Mantova che per Casale attribuendo a quest’ultima le emissioni che presentano le lettere GC, iniziali di Giulio Campo attivo nella zecca piemontese. Il ritratto di questa moneta è anche diverso da quello consueto per cui sembra di trovarci di fronte ad una produzione mantovana di eccezionale rarità e stile.
